These cream and oil-based dressings are loaded with saturated fats and have negligible nutritional value. Choose, instead, a vinaigrette or a home-made version with vinegar and some olive oil. When you consume some food prior to your Thanksgiving dinner, you will feel full much sooner and not overeat.

Consuming ground turkey in place of ground beef is an excellent, healthy choice. However, the main reason more people do not do this is because of how dry ground turkey can be. When you have this issue, try adding a bit of olive oil or onions when you cook the ground turkey. Your meat will contain less fat and still have wonderful flavor.

If you have sleep issues, it may be helpful to make some dietary adjustments. Foods can have a bearing on whether you will be feeling relaxed or have a sudden uptake in energy levels. Let your body rest between eating and sleep.

Nuts are quite nutritious if you make the right choices. A few natural almonds taste good and are high in fiber, they are great to eat.
